The best part of learning at IKC and doing a KSI course is the teachers. The environment and the fun is unending! And you can’t just attend one, you get addicted and continue for more!
A Beginner’s Journey: My Experience at Indo-Korean Centre, Pune
As a complete beginner, diving into a new language can be intimidating, but my experience at the Indo-Korean Centre has been nothing short of amazing. I’m currently in the Level 1 class, and I wanted to share my thoughts on this fantastic learning journey.
From the very first day, our director, Dr. Eunjoo,made us feel incredibly comfortable. They are not only a native speaker but also an excellent teacher. They break down complex concepts like the Korean alphabet (Hangul) and basic sentence structures into easy-to-digest pieces. The pace of the class is perfect for beginners; we get plenty of time to practice speaking and pronunciation, which is crucial.
The curriculum is well-structured and covers all the basics you need to get started. We’ve learned Hangul, how to introduce ourselves, simple greetings, numbers, and basic vocabulary related to daily life. The study materials provided are clear and helpful, and the classroom atmosphere is always positive and encouraging. I’ve also been able to make some great friends in the class who are just as enthusiastic about learning Korean as I am!

Got a chance to be the English emcee and perform with my dance club members for the Korean Speech Contest 2025 at IKC KSI, Pune. It was a really fun experience where I got to learn a lot as a student studying Korean there!!
