Summary for IKC King Sejong Institute Pune ‘Korean language & culture’ course:
1.Eligibility criteria for course admission: The IKC ONLINE course program is OPEN for Indian nationals above 18 years of age with 12th class completion certificate, working professionals, employees of organisations or self employed with valid registration of business.No previous knowledge of Korean or certificate is required for admission to IKC Korean 1.

*All course programs are designed with latest Sejong Korean curriculum text book and proprietary assignment based projects of Indo Korean Center.

2.Fees:Rs.8000/- per level (60hours, 13weeks) and to be paid immediately after declaration of interview result and receiving acceptance mail which will contain all payment details.

3. Successful students will be issued course completion certificate by the Indo Korean Center, Youth Build Foundation, registered under S.R. Act 1860 & M.P.T. Act 1950. Certificate will be sent by speedpost/courier to successful students within 30 days from the announcement of result scores for a fee of Rs500/- and to be paid only after declaration of result.

4.Successful applicants of this form will receive a tele verification call from +91-9890643590, and followed by a email along with time slot and Zoom log in details for taking interview (interview schedule mentioned above). Those who get selected in interview will receive acceptance mail along with banking details for payment of course fees. * A welcome mail with ZOOM LOGIN credentials for joining the class shall be sent to those candidates who have paid their fee before due date mentioned in acceptance mail.

5.Fees shall not be refunded unless class is cancelled due to lack of minimum number of students or operational limitations of Indo Korean Center because of unforeseen circumstances.

6.Indo-Korean cultural activities or events arranged at the center is open to all students of IKC & KSI Pune.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

1.Korean Language teachers: IKC has only highly qualified licensed Native teachers across all course programs. Visiting faculty from reputed Korean and Indian organizations will also be part of the program and class projects. Assistant Indian instructors are available for project guidance.

2.Course enrichment programs with Korean cultural sessions will be available as a part of the curriculum, and will be conducted by our team of professionals and collaboration with Korean organizations. Additionally, all cultural related programs and contests will be accessible by any IKC students (both online and offline)

3.Number of students: Minimum 10 students is needed to start a class

4.Platform: for Online ZOOM live. This is a conventional learning center and hence no recorded sessions will be provided if student is absent.

2.Student selection criteria: On first come first get and interview followed by interview. The decision of IKC KSI Pune official will be final.

3.Fee Payment Duration: Immediately after receiving admission acceptance email (Bank details will be sent by email to only selected students ).

4.Fees:Rs.8000/- per level (60hours, 13weeks) and to be paid immediately after declaration of interview result and receiving acceptance mail which will contain all payment details.

3.In order to pass the level, you must have 70% Minimum attendance, (medical leave grant is processed maximum of 2days per semester only when the medical certificate on a doctors letter head with complete details is submitted within 1 week of joining back) All attendance related matter must be communicated to ADMIN only through mail : info.indokoreancenter@gmail.com and not through WhatsApp text, SMS, calls, etc and NOT to any other staff, 60% in the average score of all the exams comprising of listening, reading, writing, speaking which are 100marks each) and complete minimum assignments specified by class teacher. Level completion Certificate will be issued to all students who pass this criteria.

*Attendance in the first week of term shall not be recorded as a settlement period for students. Optional Revision of academics class may be available at the end of term for 2 hours and attendance will not be mandatory for same.

4.Exams schedule shall be announced in the class.

5.Communication language will be English & Korean during the class time, the percentage of Korean communication will increase as the level is increased. Outside class, all administrative related communication will be available in English, Hindi, Marathi and Korean.

6.Students need to have a stable broadband/4G LTE internet connection. If students fail to attend classes due to problems of personal Internet connection, then the loss will be borne by the student. In all ONLINE courses , it is mandatory to keep the VIDEO ON for security concerns.

7.Semester course schedules cannot be changed according to the students’ convenience during the course. No extra class or recordings will be provided in case of students’ absence.

8.Showing disrespect of any kind to the teachers or staff, students instigating other students against the guidelines or disobeying of guidelines for all activities ,likewise, will result in expulsion from the Institute and cancellation of registration.No refund of fees will be made for such expulsions.

9.There will be no holidays other than on what gets mentioned on DAY1 by faculty in this semester.

10.The final decision of selection of applicants for any course and the right of admission in IKC KSI Pune premises is reserved by Indo-Korean Center. No further communication shall be made related to the same. Offline students must carry their ID card.

11.IKC KSI Pune reserves the rights to change schedule, terms & conditions based on operational reasons.

12.Registering for IKC KSI Pune classes is considered to be agreeing to personal information collection including ID card, name, e-mail address, telephone number, gender and date of birth etc and willing to accept phone calls from IKC personnel’s. Applicant registered number shall be added in various broadcast lists of IKC KSI Pune like Alumni and cultural events. Applicant should not‘record’ (through any means), any online or offline class lectures or interviews. If found of such incident in future will be barred to join any IKC KSI Pune programs.

14. If at any given point of time, it is found in the final audit of documents and attendance (70%) by administration, then you will be barred from taking level exam and disqualification applied.

15.Photographs and videos of students acquired during course, project and events hosted by IKC KSI Pune will be owned by IKC, Pune. The right of use of such material will be reserved by Indo-Korean Center, Pune
